The program indicated that three years remaining on Diaz’s contract with the Reds makes things very difficult for Barcelona, ​​as the English club has the upper hand in the deal, and has the right to impose its conditions, unlike the Williams deal, which can be completed immediately after paying the release clause.

It is expected that the Diaz deal will cause Barcelona to abandon any of its major players in order to provide the necessary financial resources to include the player, in light of the difficult circumstances that the club is experiencing economically.
